The
Reference and Information Services Department of the Hamilton Township
Public Library provides answers to several thousand questions every month,
using the resources of the Library, and referring inquiries to other
institutions in the New Jersey library network when necessary.

Reference books and nearly 250,000 circulating books to answer public
inquiries, as well as over 400 periodical and newspaper subscriptions with
many years of back issues, CD-ROM and Internet subscriptions, microfilm of
the New York Times, Trenton Times, and Trentonian and many other information
tools. Reference service is available whenever the Library is open. Telephone inquiries may be made by calling (609) 581-4060 and asking for the Reference Desk. |

| Interlibrary Loan |
| The Reference Department of the Hamilton Township Public Library also oversees inter-library loan service to our residents. Using the resources of the New Jersey Libray Interlibray Loan network, the Hamilton Library can provide just about any book or article. There is no charge for this service unless the lending\providing library levies a charge for such borrowing, in which case we must request payment for the transaction. |
